Product Description

1.1 Overview

Blast furnace tuyere equipment, also known as the blast furnace air inlet device, is designed and manufactured by our company to feature high pressure resistance, high temperature resistance, fatigue resistance, low shell temperature, and minimal heat loss. The comprehensive performance of our products is at the leading domestic level.

1.2 Functional Description:

Its primary function is to convey hot air (1250~1300°C) from the blast furnace bustle pipe into the blast furnace interior. Its operating state is consistently under high pressure and high temperature. After a blast furnace is shut down for various reasons and then restarted, the air inlet device must endure pressure and temperature changes from atmospheric to high pressure and ambient to high temperature. To ensure reliable operation under various conditions, the air inlet device must possess reliable sealing, operational stability, long service life, and ease of maintenance and replacement.

Mud Gun Plugging Device

Product Description

1.1 Overview
The Mud Gun Plugging device assembly is one of the critical and core cast-house equipment in modern blast furnace iron-making process. The products designed and fabricated by our company feature advanced technology, stable performance, and long service life.

1.2 Functions:
The Mud Gun Plugging device assembly is installed next to the tap hole of the blast furnace. Its core function is to accurately press the stemming with special properties into the tap hole with huge thrust force and block the tap hole quickly and reliably after the blast furnace tapping operation is completed, ensuring that the blast furnace remains closed during the subsequent smelting period, and guaranteeing safe production, stable and smooth operation, and energy efficiency of the blast furnace.

1.3 Scope of product design:
This product consists of a cone, a clay cylinder, an oil cylinder guard, an oil cylinder assembly, and a heat insulation device. This quotation is for complete equipment shipping of the Mud Gun Plugging device assembly, excluding the mud gun nozzles.

1.4 Product features:
● The clay cylinder and the clay plug ring each contain a special abrasion-resistant alloy layer. The hardness and thickness of the abrasion-resistant alloy layer far exceed the abrasion-resistant layer applied in traditional clay cylinder process. Independently developed by our company, the alloy clay cylinder and clay plug ring technology is the first of its kind being introduced in the Steel Industry.
● The oil cylinder adopts a double seal structure to increase the service life of the equipment.
● A reasonable structural design, the machine not only ensures good performance and meets the application requirements of the blast furnace, but also guarantees stable and reliable operation in high temperature and dust-laden environment.
● The Mud Gun Plugging device assembly applies a high-pressure, high-capacity hydraulic system that delivers exceptional tap hole sealing pressure to ensure successful plugging in a single operation. The key components are manufactured using high-quality materials through special process, with a modular design that facilitates easy replacement and maintenance. This enhances safety, efficiency, and extends the equipment’s service life.

Key Features of the Mud Gun Plugging device assembly:

1) The inner bore of the clay cylinder is made of a special abrasion-resistant alloy layer to increase the abrasion resistance of the clay cylinder. The hardness of the abrasion-resistant layer is 62-65 HRC and its thickness is ≥2mm.
2) The clay plug ring is made of a special abrasion-resistant alloy layer to increase abrasion resistance. The hardness of the abrasion-resistant layer is 62-65 HRC and its thickness is ≥2mm. The Special Abrasion Resistant Alloy is deposited by Laser Cladding process and is considered much superior to Chrome-Plating Process.
3) The clay discharge volume is ≥ 0.0067m³/s, and the speed of clay plug advance is 24mm/s.
4) The weldment is of high quality, high-strength steel, offering good structural rigidity that can withstand huge working reaction force and thermal stress.
